Now that Bluebeam Revu 2020 has been released, let us take a look at seven new features included in the latest version.

Collaboration with Bluebeam Studio Sessions

Studio sessions are a great way to collaborate with your team members, particularly when working remotely. Now you can expect enhanced user and content management capability for greater flexibility and control.

  1. It is much easier to invite everyone, as now you can invite groups (e.g. engineers, architects, project managers), as well as individual members of these groups. This reduces the time taken and makes sure you always have everyone that you need attending.
  2. After logging into your sessions, not only can you see the attendees, but you can also see those who did not attend
  3. If you have a number of Studio sessions that you are invited to, you can now see a summary of all sessions you have been invited to. That helps with organisation and reduces the amount of time it takes to find the Session ID in emails. It also prevents someone missing their sessions.

Improving your task efficiency
 – Mark-ups

Mark-ups in Bluebeam are considered one of its most valuable features

  1. The new version of Mark-up list has more filtering options and you can save custom filters. This help with generating reports and project management.
  2. There are more line styles available and they can be customised, which makes measurements and marking-up easier and more user-friendly
  3. There are more callout and text boxes options, which makes measurements and marking-up easier and more user-friendly
  4. The search box has been improved, meaning users can find what they are looking for more easily and quickly, and ensures they can fully utilise Bluebeam.
