Educating the next generation of industry professionals

Cadventure is proud to announce its collaboration with ‘Class Of Your Own’, the UK-based creator and provider of the award-winning ‘Design Engineer Construct®’(‘DEC’) Learning Programme for secondary school students.

Our role is to develop and deliver Bentley Systems software skills training to DEC teachers in schools across the UK and internationally. As a Built Environment focused STEAM curriculum, Design Engineer Construct!  inspires children and young people to explore and access career pathways within the AEC industry.

Class Of Your Own delivers relevant and in-demand knowledge and skills to the industry professionals of the future, giving them real-world practical and digital experience and skills. It gives students a thorough understanding of the modern construction industry with hands-on experience of the latest cutting-edge software for building and infrastructure design.

Students undertaking DEC can also access an entire suite of recognised qualifications, offering a unique stepping-stone for those wishing to access further and higher education, either full-time or part-time via the traditional university route or an apprenticeship scheme.

Elaine Lewis, Cadventure Manging Director says “We are delighted to have this opportunity to partner with Class Of Your Own, working with teachers who will fire the imagination of the next generation of AEC industry professionals.

Alison Watson, MBE and Class Of Your Own Chief Executive confirms: “Our partnership with Bentley Systems enables us to open up the world of infrastructure and access major projects all around the world. We are therefore delighted to be working with the friendly team at Cadventure who have a first-class reputation in developing and delivering hands-on Bentley software skills training, infused with their knowledge of how these solutions are used in practice.

By empowering our teachers, we are giving DEC students the tools they need to access some great career opportunities and reach their full potential. We want to open up horizons and deliver on their aspirations. This exciting partnership massively supports our aim to educate the Future of Construction.”
