Cadventure is proud to support local Trussell Trust foodbanks

Cadventure is proud to be supporting our local Foodbanks this Christmas

We have arranged a ‘Reverse Advent Calendars’ in our London and Kemble offices to collect donations for our local Foodbanks.

Very simply, each day we put a selection of items into our Advent Calendar collection boxes, to be taken to our local collection centres and distributed to those in need in the run up to the holiday season.

In the UK, more than 14 million people are living in poverty – including 4.5 million children. The Trussell Trust supports more than 1,200 food bank centres in the UK to provide a minimum of three days’ nutritionally-balanced emergency food to people who have been referred in crisis.

Between April 2018 and March 2019, The Trussell Trust food banks network alone provided  1.6 million food supplies to people in crisis, a 19% increase on the previous year.

Foodbanks also offer a lot more than food. Volunteers provide a listening ear to clients over a warm drink, and signpost people to other charities and agencies who can help resolve the underlying cause of the crisis.

As a Bentley user, you will be aware that Bentley Systems’ technical support for V8i versions of applications will discontinue after 31st December 2019.

What does this mean for me?

From 31st December 2019, Bentley’s V8i generation products will no longer be supported.

This does not affect the usage or licencing status of your existing products. However it does mean that updates, patches and user assistance will be discontinued and only available with CONNECT Edition, which is fully certified to work with Windows 10.

What should I do?

To ensure continuity of SELECT support for your application now is the time to upgrade to CONNECT Edition.

Five reasons to upgrade:  Not only will you continue to receive a high standard of support services, but also enjoy a full range of benefits including:

  1. New and improved functionality within CONNECT Edition
  2. Software enhancements and updates to ensure continuity
  3. Entitlement Manager to administer usage
  4. 24/7/365 Support for your users
  5. Learning Services, and Compliance Certification
How can I get help?

Contact us:  Cadventure offer a full V8i to CONNECT migration service and can help you to plan and deliver your migration strategy.
