Selecting Text Wrap Handles
The inclusion of text wrap in MicroStation V8 was
much appreciated by the majority of users. It was
also possible in later versions to wrap text that
had been placed by origin by selecting its modify
handle and dragging the text width in or out. The
problem with this was that you didn’t always
get the right modify handle on the first click and
you ended up stretching the width of the text rather
than changing the width of the paragraph! In MicroStation
V8 XM Edition, you can toggle between the handles
displayed on text by pressing the Alt key once.
With the handles displayed as squares, manipulating
the text handles results in the text being stretched.
Pressing Alt once will change the handles to be
circular. Manipulating one of these results in the
paragraph width being changed.
