Right Press Menu
Included in MicroStation V8 XM Edition is a reset
pop-up menu, which is invoked by pressing the reset
mouse button. Included on this menu are lots of handy
shortcuts which are relevant to the element you have
clicked over. For instance for elements that are live
in the active file, the menu includes shortcuts to
the manipulate palette (Copy, Move, Scale, Rotate,
Mirror) as well as the default Select All, Select
None, Select Previous, Delete and Properties.

For other elements, such as
those in references, some of the content of
the pop-up menu changes to include options such
as Exchange and Edit Reference. |
There are settings to control the characteristics
of the reset pop-up menu in the Input field of the
user preferences dialog box. Here you can determine
whether the pop-up menu is opened with a single click
of the reset mouse button, or whether it requires
the button to be pressed and held down for a short
period. By adjusting the Hold Delay setting, you can
also specify how long the button must be pressed before
the menu appears.
