Matching Element Attributes by Drag ‘n’
Drop
In MicroStation V8 XM Edition, you can match the
attributes such as level, colour, linestyle, weight,
class, element transparency and element priority of
an existing element by dragging and dropping onto
the Attributes toolbar. By selecting the element you
want to match with Element Selection and dragging
it onto the relevant field of the toolbar, the element’s
attribute is matched accordingly. So, to match the
colour of an element, simply drag and drop it onto
the colour drop-down of the Attributes toolbar. To
match all attributes that are controlled in the Attributes
toolbar, drag and drop the element onto the symbology
preview pane.
