Copying Elements while selecting them using
Element Selection
If you like using Element Selection to manipulate
elements, this MicroStation V8 XM Edition trick is
for you! In previous versions of MicroStation, we’ve
been able to click on an element (using the Element
Selection tool) and drag it to a new position. By
pressing (and holding down) the Ctrl key before clicking
on the element in MicroStation V8 XM Edition, the
element is copied as opposed to being moved. This
only works with the individual selection method, though…
